Gardener’s Notes: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last spring frost. Sow 1/4 inch deep and 2 inches apart in seed-starting mix and keep warm, 80-85°F (27-30°C). When seedlings have several sets of leaves, transplant into individual containers. Acclimate seedlings to outdoor conditions when night temperatures stay above 50-55°F (10-13°C). GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Classic pepper from northwestern Spain produces continuous harvests of mild-flavored peppers with the occasional hot one. Traditionally served panfried in olive oil until the skins are blistered, then eaten whole. Harvest at 1-11/2 inches long. Ready to harvest 60 days from transplant.
