Mustard Greens - Florida Broadleaf

Gardener’s Notes: Plant in spring as soon as soil can be worked in a fertile, well-drained garden bed in full sun. Sow seeds 1-2 inches apart. When seedlings have 3-4 leaves, thin to 12-18 inches apart; use thinnings in salads. For longer harvests, make several sowings until summer heat comes on. Harvest leaves individually starting with outer leaves or cut entire plant. Young leaves are best, but remain palatable even when large. Plant again in late summer for fall harvests. Tolerates heat, humidity and light frost.
