Monarda - Wild Bergamot

Gardener’s Notes: Direct sow fall to early spring in well-worked soil when weather is still cool. Plant 2-3 inches apart and barely cover. Keep soil moist but not soggy. Thin seedlings to 12-18 inches apart so plants have room to mature. To start indoors, cold stratify by mixing seeds with moist sand and refrigerate for 30 days to improve germination. Spread seed onto a container of seed starting mix. Keep moist. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant outside when night temperatures are warm and settled.
