Gardener’s Notes: Sow seeds directly outdoors in spring after last frost when soil can be worked. Scatter seeds 2-3 inches apart and cover ¼ inch deep. Grow in average, well-drained soil. Keep wellwatered while seeds germinate. Thin to 10-12 inches apart. Once established, blue flax requires minimal water and naturally self-sows.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
Perennial blue flax produces masses of delicate trueblue flowers that bloom from late spring through summer. It's well suited to sunny borders and wildflower gardens, attracting pollinators and adding airy texture and color year after year. Naturally selfsows but is not a pest. Hardy to USDA Zone 5.
